“I want to thank the kind, generous people of Crete for their love, care and concern”, said the 51 years-old American tourist, Vicky Presmyk, while she was being discharged from the hospital in Crete where she was treated after seriously injured by a firecracker explosion on the island of Santorini during celebrations for Greek Orthodox Easter in April.

“I am good. I am heading home and I am going to get on the road to recovery”, said Presmyk to the reporters.
